MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

PSHRA NC has provided opportunities for public personnel professionals to meet, exchange information and ideas, and participate in professional development activities, for over twenty years.

It is an association of public personnel professionals from across the state. The membership is comprised of city, county, state, and federal government employees as well as professionals from other public agencies such as housing and airport authorities, councils of government, public hospitals, state supported universities and community colleges, and public school systems.

Membership in PSHRA NC offers a diverse network of valuable resources for the professional in the human resources field all of which are designed to enhance your knowledge and keep you up-to-date with trends and new developments in the field of human resource management.

•  Student membership includes all the benefits as those of professional membership. It is limited to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in human resources management, personnel administration, public administration, business administration, psychology, or related field. The student-level membership has a maximum of two years of eligibility and is subject to verification of enrollment in a college/university. There are no annual membership dues; however, student members will be charged $35.00 for in-person events to cover the cost of lunch and meeting expenses, excluding annual conference.

Annual Membership Dues

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL OCCURS ON JULY 1ST EACH YEAR

PSHRA NC Professional Membership: $100 (Membership follows the individual.) 

Student: $0 (There are no annual membership dues, but requires additional approval) 

Emeritus: $35 (Discounted dues for retirees)

Honorary: $0 (Honorary members are not required to pay annual dues)

Agency:

    • (2+) $90 per person
